Jacob A. Mendes

Jacob A. Mendes is an Attorney at Webb Law Group APC, having joined the firm initially as a Law Clerk in 2022. As a PTLS Certified Law Clerk, Mr. Mendes began accruing experience in Depositions, Oral Advocacy, Mediation, and building strong client relationships prior to graduating from law school. He possesses considerable expertise in law and motion practice and has worked in both state and federal courts.

Before his legal career, Mr. Mendes developed his leadership and mentorship qualities through four years of coaching competitive basketball and establishing a personal training business. These experiences, focused on improving athletes’ agility, athleticism, strength, and sport-specific skills, were foundational in shaping his approach to problem-solving and client service in the legal field.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Mendes studied psychology and neuroscience and graduated summa cum laude from Santa Clara University in 2021. He continued his education at the University of San Diego School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. His active participation in USD’s business and employment law organizations, along with an externship for the Honorable Judge Kenneth K. Lee in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and becoming a recipient of the CALI excellence for the future award, highlight his commitment to legal excellence and professional growth.

Away from work, Mr. Mendes values time spent with his wife and family, watching sports, and maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle. He believes that being physically and mentally fit is crucial to delivering the best service to his clients.
